W3NA: “Ward 3 Crime Watch & Prevention” (12/30/09)
Next Week: There will be a meeting held to discuss a Neighborhood Crime Watch and basic crime prevention tips for any Ward 3 residents. A representative from the Hampshire County Sheriff’s Office will be present to talk about crime prevention and safety measures that each individual household can take. It will include ways to make your home less susceptible to a break-in as well.

We will also be looking for members of the community to become involved in a Neighborhood Crime Watch program. This will will start by getting to know your neighbors, getting their contact information, and understanding their situation and concerns. We hope to establish an initial list of community supporters to build a rudimentary infrastructure to distribute information, news and materials.
