Northampton’s Office of Planning and Development announces today:
The second public forum on the draft Northampton Open Space, Recreation, & Multi-Use Trail Plan: 2011-2017 will be held this coming Thursday, September 23rd, at 7:00 PM in the basement of the Unitarian Church next to City Hall.
The first public forum was held on Tuesday [see video]. We wanted to make sure that we gave people multiple opportunities to be heard. The format of this forum is the same as the first, we will present the early draft plan and listen to public comments.
Once we finish this public forum, we will sit down and complete a draft plan (the plan is on our website now in very early draft phase [download PDF, 5MB]). We will then return for a third and final public forum on Monday, October 18th.
After that, the plan gets finalized and presented to all of the committees who will eventually be adopting or endorsing the plan.
