Bardsley dominated in Wards 6 and 7, winning by respective margins of 258 and 255 votes. He also captured a significant 134-vote victory in Ward 3.
He noted that many of the Ward 6 residents who supported him are concerned about the expansion of the Glendale Road landfill, but he also said the results reflect a larger discontent among voters who feel underrepresented. He credits the same general feeling for his Ward 3 victory.
