Here is a blip.tv video of a presentation of the Florence Fields Recreational Facility made to the Northampton City Council on 7/8/10. Five soccer fields and two baseball diamonds are planned for a portion of the Allard Farm in Florence. Northampton planning director Wayne Feiden and Berkshire Design Group principal Peter Wells made the presentation. This video is 36 minutes long and was recorded by Adam Cohen. The balance of the land, about 44 acres along the Mill River, would be preserved for conservation purposes.
